Originally released on the 1980 "Death To Disco" LP. Pressed again in 500 copies on the 2001 split 7" with PP7 GAFTZEB. Notice the wrong spelling of PP7 (it says PF) on the covers backside. The PP7 label has the same problem. This is due to an fucked up careless layout guy (working for Mats Bodenmalm, GBG, Sweden). The mistake occured even after PP7 had approved a correct pre-view of the label....

How this odd record came to be: Although I had tried to reach him in 1991, I didn't get in contact with GG until late 1992. Despite our extreme differences (which I told GG about and he had no problems with that) we agreed to do a split EP (see excerpts from GG's letters to PP7 in the end of this video). How can you not love a disco album where every song is anti-disco? I used to play this tape on the little stereo in the cash cage of the casino I worked at... I was real strung out back then, high on speed counting stacks of money at 3AM with Death to Disco blaring in the background!

Dead to "Disco"!
David Peel is a great guy. He came to entertain the Chinese protesters near the UN after the Communist led slaughter in Tienanmen Square in 1989. He was very much appreciated. Some Marxists from the Village Voice eventually send a group of bums to infiltrate and break up the Chinese encampment by using drugs, urinating and defecating to force the City to shut down the protest.
